NACPA Meeting

We have finalized the necessary details for the NACPA Annual Membership Meeting, to take place at The Joseph in Nashville on Sunday Oct. 9, in conjunction with the conference for IEBA, the International Entertainment Buyers Association.

Even though nearly the entire business world is heading to Nashville in October, we have landed rooms at this amazing hotel, known to host CMA nominees and the Rolling Stones, plus is only a six-minute ride from IEBA’s conference hub, the new Grand Hyatt Hotel. We can provide up to four nights of accommodations and nonrefundable coach-class air flight plus a gift card for expenses (available at the meeting). We have contracted accommodations for Oct. 8 – Oct. 12.

The meeting will take place 10 a.m. to no later than 12:30 p.m. as not to interfere with IEBA, which launches at 1 p.m. down the street. Breakfast will be provided to members and guests 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

NACPA will also host a cocktail happy hour for members and guests on Monday, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Grand Hyatt’s rooftop bar, Lou/Na. More on that later; other NACPA-affiliated events are possible.

You are the two designated reps for your NACPA member company. Your presence is critical to the governance of the Association as is your help in electing the 2023 Board and contributing to industry discussions during the meeting and, possibly, the conference.

Although we cannot provide registration to IEBA, we encourage your participation in it and IEBA has provided NACPA members with an early bird special beyond August 9. Our offer goes to Oct. 9. Our coupon code is NACPA22. One must be a member of IEBA to attend. Early Bird price is $574. With membership of $125, registration is $699. will easily navigate you to membership and registration.

Each NACPA company has a primary and secondary member. If one or both of you cannot attend, you can send an alternate, or two, in your place if the names were provided on the most recent Membership Affirmation Form sent to NACPA last year. We will need advance notice of changes.

All air and hotel reservations must be made through NACPA’s experienced travel agent, Anne Heintz. We urge you to finalize plans sooner rather than later as flight avails will surely become increasingly limited this spring and summer.

Reminder: you must attend the NACPA meeting for us to legally underwrite your travel and hotel. If you do not attend, you must reimburse NACPA for costs incurred. August 1 is the deadline for nonrefundable, coach-class air travel and hotel booked through Anne Heintz prior to 5:30 pm EST. She is available at 202-470-3791 and
